Free Fire India launch ledger
Free Fire India Update Patch Notes
Free Fire India launched on build 1.134.1 with the OB55 changes that reshape the first match: airdrops arrive on a clearer clock, devices split into active and passive slots, the Follow button can board a train, and the launch balance pass changes Kenta, three other character tools and several weapon classes. This page groups the changes by the decision a player makes in a match, then keeps the exact research record beside the practical result.
OB55 launch patch 1.134.1 India build
What changed before your first match
The useful question is not only what changed, but when the change can affect your route. Airdrops and Solo Revival alter match timing; device slots change what you carry; Kenta and the character tuning change ability windows; the weapon pass changes how far and how quickly a gun wants to be used.

The change groups
OB55 makes the important drop windows easier to plan around. Four regular airdrops begin at about 160 seconds, while the Defense Airdrops and the Ultra Airdrop arrive around 410 seconds. The Ultra Airdrop is the high-risk prize: taking it grants level 5 armor and revives eliminated teammates. The same patch shortens the Solo Revival window from 540 seconds to 410 seconds, so a squad that wants a late comeback has less time to wait. Random events also include Peak Mania, Razing Storm and Weapon Surge, with Airdrops? Meteors! and Black Friday added from 1 October.
Regular Airdrops
Four regular drops begin at about 160 seconds in a match.
Garena record ↗ Defense Airdrops
Two land together around 410 seconds with enough supplies for a full squad.
Garena record ↗ Ultra Airdrop
The single Ultra Airdrop at about 410 seconds carries level 5 armor and a team revival effect.
Garena record ↗ Solo Revival
The opening revival window falls from 540 seconds to 410 seconds.
Garena record ↗ The device inventory now separates an active choice from a passive one. An active slot can hold a Launch Pad or Portal Go; the passive slot can hold Dragon Sprinters, Jammer or the new Horizaline. That split gives a squad a movement or escape button without giving up a background utility effect. The Follow button also lets a player join the nearest train. It is a travel decision with clear break conditions: firing, aiming down sights, taking damage or using a vehicle ends the follow state. Treat the train as a temporary rotation option, not a protected transport route.
Two device slots
Carry one active device and one passive device at the same time.
Garena record ↗ Follow the train
Join the nearest train with Follow; combat actions, damage and vehicles break the link.
Garena record ↗ Kenta receives the clearest launch rework. His tempest lasts 8 seconds, passes through Gloo Walls and deals 25 damage. Kenta can teleport to the tempest and gain a 5-second shield that reduces damage by 20%; the skill cooldown is 45 seconds. The result is a skill that can create an angle through cover and then move its user into that angle, so the placement is as important as the activation. The same balance group changes the surrounding roster: stealthed Morse can trigger Aim Assist from 12 metres instead of 4, Luna's rate-of-fire bonus drops from 8% to 5%, Wukong's transformation cooldown drops from 90 to 75 seconds, and Super Bonfire EP recovery drops from 20 to 10 per second.
Kenta
An 8-second, 25-damage tempest passes through Gloo Walls; teleporting to it grants a 5-second 20% damage-reduction shield.
Garena record ↗ Morse
Aim Assist can trigger against stealthed Morse from 12 metres instead of 4 metres.
Garena record ↗ Wukong and Super Bonfire
Wukong's transformation cooldown moves to 75 seconds; Super Bonfire recovery becomes 10 EP per second.
Garena record ↗ The 1 October Clash Squad season adds M7, Skorp, RPK and Hawk: an assault rifle, SMG, LMG and two-round sniper. The class pass makes the close-range choice more deliberate. SMGs gain mobility but lose range; the MP5 loses 20% range while movement speed while firing rises 25%. Shotguns keep the close-range burst role. Assault rifles gain accuracy, with SCAR at +10% and M4A1 at +7%, while AWM loses 8% movement speed. Clash Squad also gets two utility changes: Flame Grenade burns for 6 seconds, dealing 16 damage and 10% armor durability every 0.5 seconds to enemies while melting Gloo Walls, and Sonar Grenade reveals enemies within 10 metres for 3 seconds.
New weapons
M7, Skorp, RPK and Hawk arrive with the 1 October Clash Squad season.
Garena record ↗ SMGs and shotguns
SMGs trade range for mobility; MP5 range is down 20% while movement while firing is up 25%.
Garena record ↗ Rifles and snipers
SCAR accuracy rises 10%, M4A1 accuracy rises 7%, and AWM movement speed falls 8%.
Garena record ↗ Flame Grenade
The six-second burn deals 16 damage and 10% armor durability every half-second, and melts Gloo Walls.
Garena record ↗ Sonar Grenade
It reveals enemies within 10 metres for 3 seconds.

Use the condensed table when you need the match consequence quickly. The linked research record in each group above remains the place to read the complete wording and source binding.
| Area | Launch change | Player impact |
| Airdrops | Regular drops start around 160s; high-value drops converge around 410s. | Rotate with the drop clock in mind and contest the Ultra Airdrop only when a revival or level 5 armor can change the fight. |
|---|
| Devices | One active and one passive device can be carried together. | Pair movement or escape with a passive utility instead of choosing between the two categories. |
|---|
| Characters | Kenta's tempest passes Gloo Walls; Morse, Luna, Wukong and Super Bonfire are retuned. | Ability timing and placement matter more than simply activating on cooldown. |
|---|
| Weapons | Four weapons join Clash Squad; range, accuracy and movement values shift by class. | Use SMGs for movement and shotguns for burst, while checking the new rifle and sniper trade-offs. |
